Back on January 7th, 2019, ASUS Republic of Gamers proclaims the latest Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card. The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is the up to date graphic card that earned the pedigree by introducing to Infinity Loop, a unique all-in-one closed loop cooling system that is integrated into the GPU’s 3-slot footprint. Each Matrix GPU had been binned and tuned in order to deliver maximum out Turing experience, hence by, levitation the bar for graphics horsepower in a small chassis and air-cooled builds.

Highlighted Features

Deep Dive

With a pump, properly made tube and a radiator, integrated seamlessly within the shroud, the Matrix seemed to be cooler and quieter than air-cooled GPU’s. An over-sized heat spreader covers the GPU and the RAM in order to ensure the important components are kept cool and long lasting.

Infinity Loop Cooling

The Matrix’s internal closed-loop water cooling system is really to earn the first place of its kind. By merging the performance of an external closed-loop hybrid with the minimal footprint of a standard air-cooled system, the experiment was successful by delivering an extra headroom to propel the Matrix’s clock speed to a whole new level in terms of increasing the performances for builds without even needing to make a custom water loop.

Extra-Large Heat Spreader

A large-scale, micro-finned heat spreader that covers the GPU and the RAM, easing higher clock speeds by maintaining the temperature under optimum conditions.

GPU Tweak II

The provided driver takes the GPU performance up to a whole new level by fine-tuning it via the given panel. In addition, you can actually tweak the parameters by counting in the GPU core clocks, memory frequencies, voltage intake settings and monitor the real-time performance of the GPU through a display.

Aura Sync

Similar to other Aura-Sync enabled peripherals, the Matrix RTX 2080 Ti compatible with the driver. An Aura RGB lightning indicator located both on the shroud and at the back plate. If you’re using other Aura-Sync enabled peripherals, you can actually sync the RGB effects in your custom build gaming PC. However, if the ROG Martix RTX 2080 Ti is your first ROG product, then you still can use the driver and five predefined RGB effects were given and a single customisable static RGB effects.

ASUS FanConnect II

FanConnect II features two 4-pin, hybrid-controlled headers that can be connected to both PWM and DC system fans for better system cooling, well, if you preferred to do so, and the connected fans will cope up towards the GPU and CPU real-time temperatures to ensure that, heat dissipated were maintained well despite of whatever task, you might be carried out currently.

NVIDIA G-SYNC Technology

Well, we know how good G-Sync technology when compared to FreeSync, the RTX 2080 Ti features NVIDIA’s G-Sync display technology for a smooth and visual treating gaming experience by eliminating screen tearing and minimizing the display shutter and input lag. If you tend to play fast-moving-game such as shooting, racing, sports or action based, then, the RTX 2080 Ti will provide an excellent frame rate even if the GPU were tweaked to its maximum settings.

Axial-Tech Fans

The RTX 2080 Ti was designed in a manner where the blades were slightly larger by minimizing the hub, a barrier ring to increase the downward air pressure flow and IP5X dust resistance for longer lifespan of your GPU and components in it. Now, you can actually enjoy your gaming experience in a quiet environment, and, do not worry as, if the GPU gets hot, the fans will automatically turn on again.

As for the price, we are not sure either when it will be shipped to our local market, Malaysia neither do the official pricing of the GPU. We are pretty sure, despite for its premium features, the price should be premium as well.
