ASUS and ROG products won the iF Design Award in the following categories:
- Gaming Hardware/VR
- Professional Concept
The ZenFone 6 wins overall in Telecommunications category. This made possible thanks to its features such as flip camera, a flip-up module with 48MP Sony IMX586 and 13MP 125° ultrawide camera that opens a new era of mobile photography.
Next, the winners in Computer category are the ProArt Station D940MX desktop, the ASUS X409/X509/X545, ZenBook Duo UX481, ZenBook Pro Duo UX581, ProArt StudioBook One W590 laptop and Chromebook Tablet CT100. The ProArt Station D940MX graded as a workstation PC for creators featuring the latest Intel processor, Intel Core i9 and NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti GPU packed into a compact 8-liter chassis. The ProArt StudioBook One W590 on the other hand marked as the world’s most graphically powerful laptop aimed towards creative professionals. The laptop is powered by Intel Core i9 and NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 GPU with an ultra-sharp 4K UHD PANTONE Validated display. Another laptop model that included in the list are the ZenBook Pro Duo UX481 and UX581. The UX481 is a lighter laptop compared to UX581, but has the same 4K ScreenPad Plus secondary touchscreen for creative professionals and productivity users. Diving into productivity-based laptops, the ASUS X409, X509 and X545 features NanoEdge displays and powered by 10th Gen Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GPUs.
Consequently, the winner in the Gaming Hardware/VR category is ROG Zephyrus S GX502 gaming laptop. The GX502 is an ultra-slim gaming laptop powered by 9th Gen of Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA’s RTX GPU with 240Hz PANTONE Validated display.
In addition, the ASUS’s Chromebook Tablet CT100 is the first tablet that runs on Chrome OS. The product was aimed towards children in a unique design loved by the kids with extra protection for the chassis and a stunning 9.7-inch QXGA touchscreen.
Also, the ROG Face Off wins the Professional Concept category. It is a concept introduced by ASUS and BMW Designworks Group that predicts the future of gaming laptops and constantly improving their product lineups that will benefit both the companies and the users.
