AMD announced the first AMD Ryzen mobile processors and AMD Athlon mobile processors built for Chromebook platforms, providing up to 178% faster web browsing compared to previous generation. Featuring design collaboration with Google, AMD Ryzen and Athlon 300 C-Series mobile processors introduces “Zen” architecture-powered Chromebooks with systems from manufacturers like ASUS, Acer, HP, and Lenovo launching later in Q4, 2020.

The Ryzen 3000 C-Series mobile processors was said to offer up to 212% performance in terms of multitasking and content creation, thanks to its built-in AMD Radeon Graphics, the most powerful graphics made available in a Chromebook.
